NEW DELHI: The circle rates in the national capital are all set to change. While some affluent colonies may witness an increase by up to 30%, sources said a few localities where the current rates were higher than the market rate might see a downward revision.
A proposal to revise the rates has been sent to the revenue minister and it may soon be put up before the cabinet for approval, said the sources. Senior Delhi government officials aware of the development said the revision would affect almost all residential colonies, currently divided into eight categories. They, however, added that the revision might be marginal in most localities.
